Sick day from school, and getting used to new things.

Darnit, sick day from school today. Got a bad case of the sniffles, and three overgrown pimples up my nose. Had to soak some towels in near-boiling water and set it over my face for some half-hour last night. Couldn't sleep at all. Popped them all extremely carefully, removed the pus, and I think I passed out from the pain shortly after(or at least some tiredness too).

Well, I've been trying to change up my clothing a bit more: I've been buying some bolder patterned blue dress shirts, and some pink dress shirts. Many people at my school still aren't used to me looking like this, and I got a few compliments from the girls and the homosexuals of my school. Not everyone's crazy about my attire, my french cuffs, my pink shirts, my shirt/tie combos, khaki pants, corduroy pants, skinny jeans, casual oxfords, cardigans, boat shoes, or some more "controversial" clothing for guys at my school. Personally, I like it. It gives me a sense that I'm unique in dress without breaking too much convention, and I'm adding my newly learnèd style in a school environment. It might seem a bit much for high school, but it didn't cost too much more to dress like this than it did in my the years earlier, it only takes an extra 2 minutes to get dressed, and it's making me feel and want to be more appropriate. I'm more inclined to have my back straight, to not eat as much so my clothes would fit(I have quite a bit of weight I can lose), to really be nicer. I really do think that the things that make clothes look best is the confidence that goes along with it, and it gives me an image and demeanor to uphold.
